evaporator coil efficiency

#1 is a 3 ton evaporator coil, still 3 ton regardless if you install a higher efficiency condenser coil..

#2 txv is needed, and if its a cap tube, its gone regardless? if you have a fixed metering device you can install a txv on it, correct?

#3 the seer rating is only linked to the condenser coil right?

#1 if matched to the proper unit it is

#2 depends on the coil and unit, some piston coils match up 13 seer.

#3 seer is determined by whole system, not one piece of it.
