Contract specs 14 SEER Tempstar Model T4A30GKA.

I looked through www.tempstardlr.com, it appears the unit is missing a digit in the model number? Also appears unit is 13 SEER (4th character represents SEER?) Can anyone give me some info on this model. Am I correct that it is missing a digit?

Thanks in advance, again.

It looks to me like the 4th digit is missing and the 30 is for 30K BTU or 2.5 tons.

If it is a T4 you are getting a Mainline R410 unit, good product !

4th digit is missing, that is correct. 4th digit will determine SEER of a "properly matched system"

Thanks for all the info I am sure the 4th digit is missing.

Yes. I had one T4A3 installed in my own home. I am having T4A4 installed in my in-laws house on thursday. Same contractor.
Good warranty, good features, good price and in my case great installer. Unit is also very quiet. :)
