Carriers extended warranty is the same. 10 year deal. Labor yrs 2 thru 10 and parts yrs 6 thru 10. So whats wrong with that?
Trane doesn't have the features of the Infinity and Lennox? well who cares.

I have no idea.
Get a complete York 8t system, and you get a lifetime compressor warranty, and 10 years on parts.

Here is the warranty I see on the Carrier's website.
24ANA7
Efficiency Up to 17 SEER
Warranty 10-year compressor / 5-year parts limited
Infinity 80 Gas Furnace
58CVX
Efficiency 80% AFUE
Warranty 5-year parts; 20-year warranty on "SuperS" heat exchanger
I don't see 10 years as you stated. Are you mentioning an extended warranty that you have to buy?
