Hey, does anybody know if the Payne PA13024 uses R-22 or 410a?

R22 only, no 410 models.

Pretty low grade unit (only a 5 year warranty on parts and compressor).

Home warranty deal, huh?

Nothing wrong with Payne.
I'd install it ahead of alot of other models.
