tracer summit 17/Dell

Hey guys, this may be more of a computer problem. New software freshly loaded on dell laptop. Ethernet connection in summit greyed out. Help shows will do this if no ethernet card installed. Well my ethernet card seems fine or I would not be able to type this. I usually use wi/fi but disabled it and connected ethernet to internet for testing. Any ideas?

Run the Service Control Entry Remover that comes with Summit.

Repairs the corrupted settings in Windows.

Also check to see you re-enabled your hard-wired ethernet connection on the laptop. I have to switch back and forth regularly in XP on my Dell between wi-fi and the hard stuff. Cheers! ;)
