Looking at replacing old A/C unit with one of two models:
-York Affinity 3S
- Amana ASC13

Any opinions on which way to go?

From my searching on the forums it seems that both are good models.

Main differences I see are that the Amana is R22 vs. the R410A of the York. Both are 14 SEER with the proper coil. I live in Canada and both qualify for my local gov't energy rebate.

Quotes from local companies have prices in a similar range so I'm having a hard time deciding.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Darren

The York Affinity 3S is availble in both r22, and r410a versions.

Its a good unit no matter which version you choose, and bothj are quite.
