An HVAC guy working on the electric of a WIFreezer evaporator tells me that the compressor in the basement is seized,"don't waste your time just write them your estimate,you know refrigerant and water don't mix,right.."(Basement was flooded)
This is another company tech that works for the building owner and I was there for the business owner.Anyway I got the "seized" compressor running.
The question is..What do you think he was doing in that WI freezer at that moment?

Was the basement flooded?? if so you may not have a sealed system problem but you may be the good guy that missed alot.

No he was just trying to fix the fans that weren't running too.:eek: (think about fan delay..)

I think he was there to get the model #on the evap to
make sure he has a proper match.

He didnt know that the system was in electric defrost and thats why the compressor and evap fans were off

as I said before that he had already told me(he thinks) the compressor is seized...
