i am disaponted in nate.took core and ac tests today and although i dont get results for a couple weeks i know i got higher than 70 percent.i would have passed this test the day i graduated u.t.i. and after 10 1/2 years of doing service i can say i did not deserve to be nate cert. right out of school even if i could pass the the test.one day of studing and just about anyone could pass that test.not to say im some godsent tech but that nate badge i will be getting just doesnt look as good as it did.at least i get the bonus from the boss.

Good job.
I proctor the NATE battery of tests.
I give no study class, just the test.
I see the results if the testee passes or fails.
More fail, than pass........

IMO, if you think it was that easy, than you are a good tech in my book, or at least know the basic, fundamentals.

Congrats. I'm also NATE certified...I didn't find the test easy or hard, I'm just glad I studied up for it before taking it. I don't feel the whole thing was a waste of my time. You can learn something from anything you set out to do. Studying for the test and getting the results back helped me to see areas of knowledge I needed to delve deeper into.

Now the RSES CM test...all talk I hear about that is it's a bugger to pass. I'm gonna try to do so this fall...wish me luck! :D

Many, many techs fail and fail miserably. I see the results. It ain't pretty.

Good job.

More fail, than pass........

That's sad, I thought the test was super easy.
The ACE test, before it got rolled into NATE, was harder IMO.

The last test I failed was given by an Ohio State Trooper, something about weaving, I said hell I don't know nothing about weaving, I'm a HVAC contractor and he took me to jail.
