I DONT USALLY INSTALL CUSTOMERS EQUIPMENT, BUT THIS TIME I DID. I PLUGGED IT IN AND DIDNT SEE THE GREEN LIGHT LIT. I CHECKED AND FOUND THAT I DIDNT HAVE 24V..TRACED THE BLACK WIRE OFF THE INDOOR SAFETY SWITCH WHERE IT LANDED TO 24 VAC ON THE BOARD! THE 24V WIRE WAS LANDED ON L1 ! I WAS LIKE WHAT THE HELL!! SO ANYWAYS, NUKED THE BOARD AND NOW IM ARGUING WITH BURKE ENGINEERING WHY THEY NEED TO WARRANTY THIS BOARD..HAS ANYONE EVER RAN INTO THESE TYPE OF PROBLEMS?? I KNOW I HAVE WITH RHEEM INDOOR FAN MOTOR BLADES SLIDING OFF..

Not unusual to see that. The mfrs all claim to test the stuff in the factory but makes ya wonder. Had a Rheem with dual-cap wired wrong. Took a while to figger that one out! Reset the high pressure switch, fan ran fine. Soon as we left, it overheated and shut down :)

I had an Amana furnace that came from the factory with the high limit wires to the gas valve, and the gas valve wires to the high limit. The voltage drop across the valve made the unit think the high limit was open (as per blower running and flash code). Switched wires and everything was good to go. Oh and Nordyne isn't my brand.:)

Why Is It Not Supposed To Have A Green Indicator? Stating That There Are No Default Codes Available?? And Dude, Im Freaking Completely Lost With Your Caps Statement Lol.. I Havent Replaced The Board Yet. It Should Be Here In A Few Days.
