Might have a chance of going over to the big "H " in NJ just need to know how's Hussmann to work for ???This division in NJ is non union but up state they are union .I am a little gun shy of the market stuff because all you market guys seem like you work an 80 hour week !! I would really like to learn rack work just not sure how this company is to work for ????Bad managment ???good managment?? good pay ??bad pay ???on call weekends area covered ???etc. your thoughts thanks !!!

They are union at H. If they hire you as non union call the hall, UA Local 9 and ask for Orlando. The turnover rate in management at that office is high. I don't think they currently have a service manager. I would never recommend working there to anyone. They feel that techs can be found on the street corner. In the fall you will get laid off. On calls can be brutal. The other techs won't answer their phones to help you if you don't fit in. If you have a stable job stay there. JMHO

had a friend who worked for h-man,he is a 322 guy and worked for them in south jersey,said he hated it because they were ragging him constantly and not respecting him and were not giving him any support,but there is two sides to every story.

Thanks guys for all the support and help figured I would get it right from the horses mouth .I thought about it pretty hard over the weekend and was close to pulling the pin .Thanks you guys are lifesavers!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Hussman in FL is the same way from what I hear. The guys who were running Hussman in Tampa all left and started Jadeco Refrigeration. Apparently, they're doing pretty well.

Good descision. They are desperate for techs. They will tell you what you want to hear while giving you the interview. Once your there you wont even get a courtesey reach around!!!:eek:
