box at 33* upon arrival went through system found parameters messed up, straightened that out
checked charge did not seem correct, so I pulled it. vacuum to 400 microns reset factory charge
pressures same 22/160 for 404a too low of head press,right. sh -4* at 33*box , checked coil temp -10*
bad valves , to small of an area to check amp draw and 3" ceiling very tight area . Any thoughts.

It sounds as if it may be valves or simply a worn out compressor, but if you can't get proper access, how do you expect to fix anything? Tell the customer you have to move the box to a spot with more headroom.....like outside if necessary. A quick check with Copeland's Performance Calculator will tell you if the pump is doing what it's supposed to be doing.

This box is about 83" tall.........pretty low ceilings, huh?

Yeah very low and outside also difficult busy resturant

Suggestion time... If operating ambient was over 85*F with 3" clearance plan on removing the evap assembly and take apart the TXV, clean with alcohol, and Q-tips.;)

ambient temp 70-75*
checked against copeland curve and pump was not even close.

sounds like a metering issue.
