McQuay WPV Oil Return Problems

I have a 430 ton Mcquay on start up screams and dose not return the oil back from the evap all the pressures on the pump are with in specs and the flow accross the barrel are good. It will some times fail on high super heaat as well. Any suggestions or Mcquay guys out there.

first i would check the freon charge, if your low you wont bring oil back. high discharge super heat is one clue. read the manual before you do any thing. you may want mcquay or some one qualified to go through it with you.

check the inlet cond. water temp if it is too low it will do what you are describing.
