I am attempting to order 4'x8' sheets of 22 guauge galvanized metal (I am in the middle east). What the vendors are quoting is 125cmx240cm (roughly 4'x8') 22 guauge galvanized metal. The listed weight is 45 Lbs. a sheet. I am not a metal fabricator but this seems a little heavy. We are being charged and outrageous amount for this stuff so I really have no room for error on this-add to that the fact that they guy that brings it in the gate will be risking his life to do it. Any of you guys know if 45 lbs per sheet is even close to accurate for 4'x8' 22 guage galvanized? Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Somewhere in the range of 40-45 lbs sounds right.

Yup, thats pretty close...

But I think that stuff gets heavier the more you have to lift it too lol.
