In some ways, Yorks are great.....

For instance,

Take a J compressor gut it, put a stainless steel eye-bolt in the top, put the heads, caps, sideplates on, fill the case up with concrete through the terminal block hole. Let it set..
Float it out to your favourite reef spot and drop it down with a stainless cable attached. Float a small stainless bouy 1/2 meter under low tide...

Using GPS (not the one in your truck), map the location. You will for always and forever have a permanent anchor with no fear of drift.

During high tide, you might have to swim down a couple of meters to tie on, but that's no biggie. I know for certain that 12 years later, it will still be there.

So before you York bash.. Remember...

Deep down, Yorks are great compressors.
