I have a Ice O matic model ICEU200HAI. Replaced leaking Low pressure control (harvest initiation)today. Leak tested ,evac, weighed in charge. Started unit made one batch of Ice. Came out of harvest cycle low side pressure dropped to 30 psig R404a slowly rose to about 39 psig. The Harvest initiate low pressure switch makes at 32 psig. Unit times out and goes into harvest cycle again, no ice on evap. Comes out of harvest and repeats. Added refrigerant which allowed it to stay in freeze cycle but after harvest the same thing happened. I beleave the TXV is not opening fully. Anyone here have opinions.

I thought the 200 was a cap tube. Don’t have the books if front of me. Did you change the drier?

Before you go threw all that , check to see what the dip switch is set at!!!!!...I bet it is to shot on time, Ice-o-matic are famous for slow responding tx valves.
unhook the wire on the low pressure switch, time your batch of ice, make sure that you are not pumping out the dump valve, shut off the water and see,
I bet you will see, the txv cycling, It will then get In the right feed, you may to drop the cut in pressure, and adjust the dip switch, but 404, about 18 minutes, for those units, set dip switch for 4 minutes after lp closes. when you have a good slab
hope this was some help.http://bestsmileys.com/undersun/2.gif

The timer hasn't been touched. Dump valve is not pumping out . Unit is in shop with drain going into a bucket so I know that for sure. As soon as it comes out of harvest it pulls down below low pressure cut in of harvest timer. It had been working before refrigerant leak. Could it be moisture in system? I would think that would cause the txv to stop flow all together. And it happens as soon as it comes out of harvest so moisture doesn't really have time to block txv or does it? I disconnected txv bulb and held it in my hand and got know real change in pressure.

What’s the pressure control set for? Download the Manuel and reset all controls to factory settings. Then fine tune it.

So what’s the outcome?
