anyone use the new webstat from hwell?
its a preconfigured 201 capable of putting 12 t7350's on the web . cost is about half of a 201. we are looking at putting these in some home building centers in my area. was wondering if anyone has used these yet and has any feedback.

We have not used any yet, but we have looked at them. Looks like a viable option for a very small system. The only problem I see is you won't be able to add or customize very much because it is very resource heavy.
I am very interested in the new Spyder controllers. It is going to be nice to have a freely programmable controller for less than $300.00 dollars that will do most small plant applications where you don't need the AO of a 15C. And the added feature of the built in clock will be a nice addition as well.

Webstat won't be shipping for a month or so. Maybe a beta user will chime in.

I received a demonstration of WebStat, and it looks really easy to use. There was a huge focus on improving the usability of the user interface and making the workflow as natural as possible.
Lane, I think the Spyder controllers are fantastic as well, and I also saw a demonstration of the function block programming, and is sooo much better than the Excel 10 range. It will be even better when they have Lon and BACnet connectivity.

depending on what you get loaded on a 201, the webstat seems to be half the cost.
the spyders look nice. but they are not lonmark certified. a big mistake on honeywells part IMHO.

There was an initial price for early Webstat orders but final pricing is not out yet.
