Well I see my user name has been changed. I'm curious to find out why. As far as I can tell, I have not violated any forum rules. I never used "Suck and Blow" in any derogatory fashion, only in the context of HVAC. You know, fans suck and blow. So do compressors and pumps.

I tried to write you guys a private message only to find out that "Your administrator has disabled private messaging." Come on now guys, how about a little respect for freedom of speech?

One of the elements of maturity is to understand that I am not the center of the universe. I am no more than a small tooth on a VERY large gear (not you geer). The most important thing I can do is learn to be part of society and contribute what I can to make the world a better place for everyone. And in the midst of this, I will get to enjoy this better world that I and tens of thousands of folks are actively contributing to.

To understand less than this as the reason for my existance is IMO kinda like childish...

Well, I hate to say this, BUT: If that is the only skill you have, then you are in the wrong profession. You need to file for congress and get elected. You will be at home with those BS'ers.

There is this thing called professionalism. It is not about winning, it is about how you play the game. To win by any other means that the highest standards of integrity is not winning, it is cheating. And a true professional is more concerned about his/her standards than winning. Because they are wise enough to understand that they will win if they practice the standards.

So based on that interpretation, I guess we know who is a true professional and who is not.

Did you ever happen to read what it says right underneath the link to this ARP forum? If you haven't, here's the first few lines:

Now, if you want to talk about professionalism on the job, that is a completely different topic, and I have a history of success in in that department. I'll gladly change modes to discuss whatever you'd like about our professions.

Yes my time on these boards has been short. I have contributed to 2 posts. My first was in the "Jobs" forum. There, you will find out a little more about me and my professionalism. My second is here. After beginning this post with a valid question, "Roscoe" immideately piped in and started in on me. Then the a herd of other shallow minded people began attacking me from all angles like a bunch of pack animals. Did I start this flame war? Do I have a right to defend myself from accustions from people who don't even know me?
