i got a call from someone with a breezaire resi wine unit(110v) not working. found bad cap, repaced cap and relay on monday, unit ran fine, good pressure, amp draw. two days later i get a call back, cap is bad again. i m not real familiar with these things, why would i get two bad caps? there is 125v to the unit, is there something obvious im missing?

A bad compressor will eat capacitors.
Did you check the amp draw after getting it back online?

A bad start relay can do that too. It's a good idea to replace the relay any time you find a bad start capacitor.
Also, repeated starts or attempts to start will overheat and burn out a start capacitor.

If its a potential relay 5,2,1 then it could be hanging the start winding in and overheating capacitor or like the above said a compressor going bad will blow capacitors. Is the condensor clean and charge ok. No extra heat on condensing unit?

Every Breezair I have ever had to work on had a Danfos compressor that failed in 2 to 3 years from install including the good installs. Dump the compressor and old condensing unit and install a over the counter commercial condensor.
