Can you use a cpc sensor on a comtrol store. If so what do you do ?. I already went to sensor types on the anolog screen i can see hi temp, johnson, etc.... but do not see anything that relates.

yes i think but only if its the same type of thermo couple like a k couple or a j or what ever but you have to install a resistor in line... i don't have all kinds of work in on comtrol though so good luck

Yes,I do it often
Each point has 2 dip swithes for it. 32 switches per board , 2 addresses per A.I. board. Whichever point(address),you are landing the CPC sensor to , flip the 2nd switch the oppisite position.
I think the 2nd one is turned to on for that application.
I think the manual even states for a 10k ohm/cpc sensor switch#2 to on or off..I forget the exact way.
I know , of the 2 switches 1 is up , the other is down. On all the other points(with Comtrol sensors)input switches they will all be the same (both same position up or down)
It's a life saver and one of the few things I like about Comtrol....but that's another thread.

Thanks guys. I did move the dip switch on the input board for that point and it worked.
