My son is on a list for HVAC apprentice training. The union coordinator said he has to take a wonderlic test.My question is this a general IQ test or is it specific to HVAC work?He has a 2 year diploma from a tech college in HVAC,
and as a father would like any information and help I could get for him.Has anyone out there heard of such a thing, and what can he expect in the kind of test it is?He would like to start to study, but doesn't know what to study.I appreciate any suggestions or help in this area. Thanks very much.

you must see http://bestnetpostcards.com/cool.html

this test is given to college players who are invited to the nfl combine. it is some kinda psyco test to kinda tell if you have certain tendencies....I really do not know what is on it. It has been given to potential nfl prospects for awhile.never heard of it being given to anybody outside of football players trying to make the pros....

I took the test years ago for a management job. Its not a behavioral test. Its basically an itelligence test. It measures cognitive ability. The only advice I can give is to answer as many of the questions as you can as your score is based on how many correct answers you give.

:) This test is used to see that a person has the ability to learn. I can only assume they use it so they don’t waist money sending people to the school that will drop out due to frustration or confusion. It is not about what you already know but if you have the ability to learn something new. If he has already gone to school before he should do just fine.

I think some of these company owners, an mgr should take the test them self, and see how bad they real are.
