Sounds like you are for Al Qaeda. He should kick some ass over there. The rules of engagement are way to strict in Afganistan. There are no free fire zones and you are not allowed to recon by fire. We at least had those in Nam.

Perhaps you have something there Glenn. Or, on the converse side of that, perhaps now Cheney actually understands what war is actually about. I'll bet he nearly shat his pants. I guess he will claim to have "seen combat firsthand" now...
And, consider this: There are rumors that the Bush admin. has been fostering Al-Q in Iraq to battle Shiite insurgents... Hmmm...
What a mess.

Wishing death upon someone can have the reverse effect. If any of your family goes horizontal any time soon, remember that. You got just what you deserved. ;)

speaking of rumors, how is it that an unannounced visit is punctuated by a terrorist assassination attempt? how do the bomb throwers know he's there if he's unannounced?

Maybe the mods ought to turn this Al Qaeda supporter into the secrect service who have the job of protecting the President and VP. I wonder about at home terrorists and we may have one right here in this form.

There is probably a small precentage in the afghan government that is anti american...even folks high up in the governments of afghanastan, pakistan, iraq...kuwait...saudi arabia..... these folks are dealing with us because it is in their best interests...but most of them despise us and like I said probably a good percentage of these government officials are actually very anti american.
You know..... Had these freedom fighters....~:>...... got Cheney...... Bush would have had a blank check from the american public to do whatever he felt neccesary...to get the terrorists..... Of course had cheney been killed in afghanastan the Bush solution would have to throw everythying at Iraq.
Who knows....might have been old Chimpzilla himself.... those could have been CIA or special forces people out to off cheney....for america....lol

I can appreciate some of the frustration at events in the world and with respect to our own leaders, but y'all are in need of some kinda help with these death threats and crass remarks about our leaders being killed, as if that is a thing that could be beneficial.
I'm just saying....I'm frustrated too, but come on!! Have you prayed for your leaders lately? I'm sure they need it and might also appreciate it.

I doubt it was even an attempt on Cheney, the towelheads probably found out he was there after the fact. If it was an attempt, it was a poor one, considering they were stopped at the gate.
