Chicken or Egg?

I heard a funny noise and went outside to check my compressor. The big line was frozen. I went back inside and noticed my blower was not blowing. Did the coil freeze up and cause my blower to turn off? Or, did my blower die and cause my coil to freeze up?

the blower stopped causing the coil to freeze up if your in the cooling mode.

I went up in the attic and there is a little red light flashing inside the heater/blower. You can see it through a little peep hole. It is a Trane variable speed.

Be prepared for an expensive service call since it is vary speed. Unless it is under warranty. Your blower motor or electronics have probably malfunctioned. Are you sure the blower quit? Did you check your air filter?

The filter is fine. The fan does not run. Even when I put it on fan only. Luckily, I have the 10 year parts and labor warranty.
