Hello everyone! I need to purchase a manometer to check gas pressure and purge fan pressure for a hydrotherm pulse boiler. The manual recommends a U type manometer which is kind of hard for me to obtain. On e-bay there is a digital pressure manometer and an inclined manometer, Can I use either of these to check the gas and fan pressure? If not can you guys help me locate a U tube manometer? Thanks!

If it was me, i would spring for the digital one. Dwyer makes a good one but it's a little pricey. I think I've seen mark beiser post pics using one here. If you need the U tube type, I think yellow jacket still sells one.

Hydrotherm pulse boiler, almost cousin to lennox pulse furnace:) same type of combustion and yep the can be a pain. Some say the spark plugs in lennox pulse are difficult to remove but just try to get a rusted hydropulse spark plug removed:confused: Most hydropulses in this area have been replaced with something else.

Just pull your fingernails out with pliers. It will be less painful than working on that boiler.

I think awhile back someone else worded a statement exactly like that except it was in reference to a lennox pulse I believe.:D
