outdoor temperature sensors - too many!

i have a number of things on my hvac system that want to sense the outdoor air temp. my hvac contractor is proposing putting at least 4 of these on the side of my house.

it seems to me that there could be one sensor shared by all the things that need to monitor outdoor temp. does anyone have any experience in consolidating these things? if so, what did you use?

depending on what you want done the honeywell iaq stat may be the way to go

Without knowing what "things" you are refering to it is impossible to say. If you list these "things" you can get accutate help.
