Could I explain what exactly?

Trane's LCP boards are actually made by pci lighting.

Trane used the LCP supervisor panel as translator gateway box to talk to pci lighting boards.

If you can not get a replacement board from Trane or they are not willing to repair it for you. Then you may try calling pci lighting.

good luck

Amigo is absolutely right. If you put them side by side they are the same, even the can is the same.

The DOS based software LCP Edit is identical as well.

If Trane will not repair them then I would contact them as Amigo said. I have used PCI Lighting for years they always performed repairs on there boards and had good support. I believe they are out of Burlington VT.

Yes, i know account they had the same problem and they did exactly what Amigo said - issue was solved. on the other side if they would not be able to help you - next step if you have BMTW or BMTX with LON capability i would go with any LON compatible lighting control manufactures, installed it, pulled new wire and you'll be all set.

Amigo..

I shipped 2 LCP panels to them today to be repaired. Thanks for the info.

They do not make this board anymore but they will still repair them until they use all their parts they have on-hand.

I need some advice on what we will go to after this...

You are pretty well stuck.
Try drilling pci for ideas and suggestions as a first step.

next step would be thinking of upgrading these panels.
How many LCP panels do you have?
What tracer summit version/BCU model do you have?

Answers to these questions will enable us to suggest a possible upgrade path if you decide to entertain that idea.
