G.E. Motor

I need 12 simply G.E. General Purpose Motors for Trane wall Ventilators.

This Motor is M/N G.E. 5KH38SN13HX 1/4-1/12 h.p. 2 speed, 115 volt, frame 48, 1725/1140 rmp, sf 1.35, cap run.

Simply right? no one has any info on this motor. Grainger, Johnstone, United, G.E. Web site, local motor shop, Even goggle has no info. Not one place has any info on this motor or a cross reference to any other motor.

I found a Grainger M/N 6XH58 which is very close but no run cap it's a split phase motor. And not as beefy

This motor is only 1-3 years old.

Any suggestions to locating this ghost motor?

That GE motor maybe Trane OEM. Bite the bullet and call Trane Service First.

Yep they are Trane OEM only.

Trane knew right away.
