How old are you? If you're 28 you need to account for about 4 years. Were you in prison for those years or what? I can only see 6 years of your life, what high school did you go to? Other than that it looks OK to me.

Thanks Chuck!
The last five or so years have been a turning point in my life, (new life sort-of-speak). These "NEW" years have been criminal, alcohol, and drug free!
Those "OLD" years were way before my family came into my life, (wife and children).
When asked about this, I will be very forthcoming. And hopefully they see the person in front of them instead of the person on that sheet of paper they'll recieve from the check.
I was never an addict, or a thief! I just made some bad decisions.
School; I dropped out in the eighth grade. Reason; (not that it makes a difference), brother died when I was around the age of fourteen, family fell apart, I moved out and never went back.
To be honest, I hope they never ask for this information. It sounds as if I'm making excuses for my mistakes. There are no excuses, just mistakes!
But thanks for the criticism. I guess I should prepare myself for these kind of questions. Just wish there was a yes/no answer for them.

Okay you asked for us to critique your resume so here it is. By the way, I do the hiring for our company.
#1. What's H.V.A.C.R.? How do you know I know what this means? Try this;
Heating,ventilation,air conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC/R) Service Technician.
There are no periods in HVAC/R. Once you write out what HVAC/R means and you put it in ( ) like I did above, then you can use HVAC/R though out the rest of your resume.
#2. Your opening objective statement sounds like you are trying to dazzle the reader with B.S. Also every sentence starts with "I". "I am very..... I hold serveral......I am married..... I carry a......." The interviewer would think,"So what? What does all of this mean to my company.?"
Try something like this instead; "The heat transfer trade is a very interesting field this is why I have dedicated myself to be a part of it." This sentence said the same thing as you said in your opener but it didn't start with "I". It makes you sound humbler and more like a team player.
Feel free to email me with any updates and I'll try to help you.
PS: Those missing 4 years would be a source of concern for me as well.

I love it! That is exactly what I'm looking for.
Thank you!
I have an interview today, (just received the call 1/2 hour ago), starting off cleaning ducts. We'll see, at least it's a start.
I'll report back with the results.

Oh plus you have a typo in your objectives. you wrote "I have spent that last two years". when it should be "I have spent [B]the[B]last two years".
