Next week I will be installing a 1000lb water cooled Manitowoc at a restaurant. Where the im is to be located, their are no floor drains, or low drains for that matter. I need to pump up about 10' or so. The condenser water I will just route the outlet up, but I need to pump the bin drain and the "pump out" drain on the head.

I have had to pump several bin drains, and I usually just use a little giant condensate pump. Like a VCL-14US. But for this application, I think I should go with something more heavy duty. (And price effective)

It would also be nice if the pump has a safety switch on it so I can wire it into the head.

Any suggestions?

I think little giant or beckett has one that will pump to 20' and they are available with or without the aux safety float.

Here are a couple from Johnstone that light do the trick;

I've also seen people take a Rubbermade tub and put a sump pump in it.

The Little Giant VCL-45ULS has a gallon capacity for a future ACS.

Find out how much head (lift) the machines pump has. It may lift as high as you need. Just put in a check valve to prevent feedback. A little giant will handle the bin no problem.
