I can't believe they are sending Trane machines to China. The Chinese have several absorber manufacturers already, their technology is ahead of ours. By the time they pay the VAT I can't believe they would be cheaper.

Looks like an old lithium chromate machine to me.
If it is, there's a treasure inside. Platinum, and a lot of it.
Because China is not an eco-friendly country, they can extract it a whole lot cheaper therefore pay more for the shell than an American company.
I'd venture to say it's heading for the reclaimers.
