Washington's farewell address translated into modern english. Kinda neat. Amazing how well it still applies today. If only americans still read it.

How about the short version. I do know that he was against intanglements with forgien goverments and we should be isolationists. Once we clean up the radical Muslims we should go back to that stance.

He was also against political parties. I can really respect that part. Just imagine, choosing a candidate because of his position on topics, not because of his party. Candidates free to express their own positions and not have to 'toe the party line'.

I agree. And eliminate those dumbassed "straight party" tickets while they're at it too.
What's wrong with this country? The politicians have the mentally challenged hornswaggled into voting for a party instead of a platform.
