Anybody done modbus with AX? If so, how was it?
I got a sight that is fixing to install some new Lieberts and they want to add them to the system. Liebert unfortuneately has no Lon option. Anybody done any modbus off of Lieberts?

If you don't buy the Modbus driver, you can also try this interface:

I've done Modbus with AX on lots of little GE EPM power meters, about 200 stupid little Greystone CO2 sensors, and a few Lieberts. All went flawlessly (except the Greystone crap, which had many many manufacturing issues...). The addressing information is crucial, of course, as Modbus has no auto-discovery function, but as long as you know exactly what model of Liebert unit you've got, the documentation they provide is accurate, and the integration works flawlessly.

Many thanks for the replies. Ironicly, I talked to a Liebert rep this afternoon and he told me they just released a Lon portal for use with their site link, but at $5000.00 I don't think I will be going that way. Bacnet is the same.
So I guess if we do it it will be modbus. Glad to here that it works well.
