A young couple, on thier 1st anniversary, thought it would be fun to go to the local carnival to celebrate.
While there, the husband notices that they are offering plane rides for $50. a ride per couple. So, excited as a school kid, he runs to his wife to ask if she would like to go. His wife replies, "Honey, we want to buy a home, and start a family, as much as I hate to disapoint you, fifty dollars is fifty dollars.
Twenty years pass and they decide it would be romantic to celebrate at the same carnival. As the walk the midway, the husband sees that they are still offering the same plane rides, for the same price. Again he asks his wife if she would like to go up. But to his dismay, the wife replies, "Honey, although our kids are grown,theyre in college, and our home isnt yet paid off, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars".
The pilot, overhearing thier conversation, makes them an offer, that he will take them up, and if they dont make a sound, the flight is free. They both agreed. The pilot does his best with loops,rolls and dives to get them to make noise, but nothing!
The pilot lands the plane and being suprised by thier composure says to the husband, "Sir, I have to be honest, I really tried to make you scream, or something, but you never did, i'm impressed!! To which the husband replied, "Yes there were a few times I though I was gonna lose it, even when the wife fell out, but then again fifty dollars is fifty dollars!"
