View Full Version : Searchin' for discontinued Larkin spec's

I have searched the heatcraft / larkin site for the info I need, and I can't find the application / capacity info on these two models.

ELT4-569-4
ELT4-446-4

Any help offered would be much appreciated.

The customer wants to put up a new box, and is trying to cut costs by using some blowers that he already has if they will suit the application.

Probably old versions of the MLT-4 series of coils Medium profile warehouse coils 4fpi with electric defrost

MLT4530

MLT4440

Specs will be on the Heatcraft website

These are definately not a medium profile blower.

I requested the info from Larkin weeks ago, via e-mail, and haven't heard back from them yet.

I dusted off an old Larkin Catalog from 1987 and found what you're looking for:

ELT4-569: 56900 Btuh@10ºF TD (-20ºF ET), 65000 Btuh@10ºF TD (+20ºF ET), 4 FPI, 11500 CFM, 75 Ft Throw, 15.4 lb R12 Charge

ELT4-446: 44600 Btuh@10ºF TD (-20ºF ET), 50750Btuh@10F TD (+20ºF ET) 4 FPI, 12000 CFM, 70 Ft Throw, 10.2 lb R12 Charge

Thank you, I would expect both cobwebs and dust on a catalog that old. :)

This is alot off-topic, but since I started the thread, AND my initial question has been answered, here goes.
I was curious if you knew how Wickham Park is looking after the fire they had.
I had some good times in that park while in college. :rolleyes:

Do you mean the park in Melbourne? They had a fire? I went by there yesterday.

Where did you go to school.......BCC? FIT?

Yes, I attended BCC. I worked at FlaTech (FIT).
They had 2 fires IIRC about 9-10 months ago.
I lived in the area of Lake Washington and Wickham.
Back when life was easy, and someone else paid the bills. :D

I wasn't aware of the fires up there. I get my local news out of Vero Beach and they like to pretend Brevard County doesn't exist.;)
