flex duct in NY?

Does anyone know if NY limits the amount of flex duct in a residential house?

Not that I am aware. We try to run a main trunk and run flex off it. I have seen some hacks install a plenum on airhandler and hook flex everywhere. This somehow works. We have a short a/c season.
I would do a professional sized installation and ron flex from trunk to diffuser and returns to trunk only. thats my $.o5
