I'm having a problem with the accessory 110 power activation when the fan and heat is going sometimes it kicks the power on for the accessory for the humidifier and eletronic air cleaner but sometimes it doesn't. If I go in the house and bump the heat a few degrees higher the power switch kicks on. Does anyone know what the problem is or what could fix it? seems like when the fan is on it always should be activated??? HELP:cool:

The hum terminal requires the fire to be on. The EAC terminal should activate with the blower in any mode.

do the accesories always work when you bump the temp up or is that erratic as well? Do you have the hum and eac terminals? and are they hooked up?
is your stat two stage?

I was wondering if the system was wired properly. If the hum and eac terminals are present and wired correctly then it should work as you say. If it is wired incorrectly and you have a two stage stat that when your W2 terminal is energized the accesories would come on if wired to the W2 terminal. The W2 terminal only gets powered when the stat setpoint is raised about two or three degrees above room setpoint. If you have a mercury bulb stat, take cover off and see if you have two mercury bulbs instead of one. If you do then the bottom mercury bulb is W2 and your accesories may be powered off of that terminal which is wrong. If you have a digital stat then take cover off and see if any wires are hooked to W2 terminal on subbase. If so then the accesories are probably powered off of that terminal which is wrong. I hope this makes sense, because I just read it and I am wanting to kick my own ass for typing such a complicated reply.

Thx jim your a really big help...:D
