Drop In For R-22?

Is there one? Will equipment manufactures warrantee their gear with it changed over?

ICOR's NU22b is very close. One of their bigshots took the R22 out of the A/C I sold him and put his stuff in and cooling great. He was borderline on size before the swap so his capacity drop, which was more of a problem with NU22, is less now.

Mfrs probably don't want it in their units for warranty reasons but it's been a long time since I've sent a warranty comp back anyway. Plus R22 is still cheap. Probably be years before R22 is as expensive as alternative refrigerants and many units will be out of warranty by then.
