what is a powerpile & how does it work,would also like a print of a current relay & a start relay,thanks for any help

Wow. Been a long time since I heard that name. But from what I remember, a powerpile is nothing more than several thermocouples wired in series inside a single housing. When heated, this allows it to create more power than just 1 thermocouple. It could then be used to open a gas valve. My first home's furnace was a gravity with a powerpile.

power pile or thermopile is 25 thermocouples packed into a bundle with the abillity off producing 750 mv.
