Carrier and ALC

One of my contractor customers got a call from Carrier touting their new control system and suggesting they can undercut me on price (on a job for which I have a PO, no less). Maybe, maybe not. I'm not all that concerned, but wondering if anyone else has seen a new push from Carrier now that they've finalized the Automated Logic acquisition and if they're giving the stuff away to get established.

Although Carrier owns ALC, the local branches are still selling CCN and i-Vu, not ALC. The Carrier CCN controls are going BACnet over the course of this year. The equipment PICS are supposed to be BACnet too. ALC dealers and Carrier branches selling controls are still competitors in the marketplace.
