It appears that congressional approval ratings are about the same as the President's rating.
Hopefully, Americans are getting fed up with what's going on in Washington.

That depends on how you look at it. Bush Crime Co. is just going to veto all of it anyhow....

It appears on how you look at what? Math is math. There's no politics in it...remember?
I hope Bush does warm up the veto pen.
The democrats will get a taste of checks and balances just when their underpants have gotten too big.
You pollsters were all in favor of presenting these numbers when they showed Bush's approval rating at a low point.
What's a matter? You gonna' deny the math now because it looks unfavorable for your precious dems?

Certainly not, polls are what they are.
BTW, I never rely on those polls anyhow, regardless of who they are stating they are in favor for or against. Regradless of who they are about either...
I could take a poll in a heavy Blue state, and it's going to have a negative against Bush. I could take a poll about the "100 hours of house reolutions" in a Heavy Red state, and the poll numbers would be negative...

Wow! That's pretty bad when ultra-liberals like the LA Times and NPR can't even get into the black on percentage of people not liking what the new and improved Congress is doing.

True enough. I was simply using the poll as retribution against some here who have manipulated poll numbers to reinforce their fabricated arguments.
For the most part, if you look at what has been accomplished during the first 100 hours, there are some encouraging signs.
Maybe the best remedy would be to vote these incumbents out after a certain term to eliminate "lifers" and gridlock.

The 108 and the 109 didn't shine too bright.......:(
When you start at the bottom , there is no place to go but up.....3 points could be 10%.....

Sure there are, it's easy pickings when you present a poll that overwhelmingly states that _______ sucks (insert: Bush, Pelosi, Clinton etc)
For the most part, if you look at what has been accomplished during the first 100 hours, there are some encouraging signs.
Yes there seems to be some progress, and it is indeed encouraging, lets see what the President does with his veto powers (like he has threatened) which I think is a political mistake. But then again, Bush is full of blunders that are pretty serious, and just now is beginning to admit his mistakes.
Maybe the best remedy would be to vote these incumbents out after a certain term to eliminate "lifers" and gridlock.
Well, that certainly is an option. But, I highly doubt that any of these "lifers" are interested in pushing a bill that promotes "term limits"!! Why ruin a good gig? So, the burden rests on the American people, and we certainly saw some beginnings towards a change regarding the "lifers"... Lets see what happens in the next election in 2008! It could swing either way.

See my previous post about that. It would mean the demise of the credibility of the Bush Admn. the moment he does that. He knows that and so does the 110th....
But thats fine, thats what fantasies are made of. For BOTH sides....

Laughable
Bush hasn't had to worry about congress in the past and he's not about to start making concessions during the final 2 years of his presidency because of your exaggerated premise that he is worrying about his credibility.
He will veto any foolishness these dems try to bring forth if he deems it necessary and will sign legislation if he thinks it helps the country.
Like it or not, Bush has always been adamant about his agenda in managing the Executive Branch and that's not going to stop because of some twit like Nancy Pelosi. Take that to the bank.
Why would he? You libbies have tried to erase his credibility with your crusade against Iraq when it got politically convenient for you, and now you expect cooperation?
If you want some type of soft policy now, go crap in your hand.

Get used to the poll numbers libbies.
I will be rubbing them in your faces until my a$$ is chapped from your razor stubble.
Yes, I know that it doesn't mean a thing...but oh how fun it is spinning numbers with the liberal spinjockeys.
