You must qualify before posting a ‘Help Wanted’ ad.

You must be a Professional Member of this site with no less than 100 posts and/or your membership must be no less than six (6) months old. If you do not meet these requirements your post will be removed.

I guess it is how you read the rules and how much A$$ you kiss on this site as to weather you post stays on the site or not. For example there is a post 4 under mine by a PROFESSIONAL MEMBER Total post 41 Join date 9-25-2003 that is .03 post per day and his post is still up. I have been a professional member for just under a year have total post count of 6 that is .02 post per day. I have probably read almost every post on this site, and because I choose not to post and get into heated discussions or name calling which is how most of these post turn out. You want to remove my post when I am only 1/100 of post per day away from someone else and have been a member of this site for only a year. I thought this site was for information, the advancement of the trade, helping each other out(letting someone know of job openings) I GUESS I WAS WRONG... It is about who wants to show their a$$ and be the moderator of the day.

Well remove it if you must, ban me if you like. I know of other sites on the net where I can get info or even post a job offering without the politics of your post count isn't high enough, or you have only been a member here for one year and our rules clearly state AND/OR but we can't read

Probably mispelled and poor punctuation so start Complaints

Fixed some of the spelling since I cooled down a little..

So just post once in a while. It's not that hard.

CG, I agree it's not that hard to post once in a while. However that is not the point of my post. The way I have read the rule is: Say you have been a member for 6 months or more and only have 6 post like I do. Then it would be ok to submit a job ad. Now if you have been a member for less than six months and have over a hundred post it would not be ok to post, and you would have your post deleted. You may read the rules another way. But that is way I understand the AND/OR section(maybe I'm just some dumb redenck in NC).

I tell you what let me get an opinion of how everyone on here reads the rules for posting a job ad and have them post on their version of it. Maybe it will change the way I understand the rules, get the mods to change the way the rule is written, or even better allow someone to post a job ad when they have been a member here for over 6 months.

I'm sure if they had the abilty to pull some kind of report that would show the total number of registered users compared to the ones with lets just say more than 100 post. I think they would find there are alot more people like myself and bybro nc that come on here and read almost everything on this site, learn something, and only post a minimal amount.

Hope to hear from everyone.

Jim,
Your issues are in discussion by the mods. Please await a decision....cept the kissing part...not happening.

Mr. jdilks,

The rule is surprising clear.

You may post a help wanted ad if you have been a member for more than 6 months.

You may post a help wanted ad if you have more than 100 post.

You may post an ad if you have been here less than 6 months but have over 100 posts.

You have been a member for a year. Therefor you may post an ad.

the heated debates where guys have to prove their points are the best and most of where the learning takes place

i have shown my azz here more than once where i was proven wrong in my thinking and someone has put me to the task of rethinking my position

so that being said throw yourself out here and post some of your knowledge for the green guys to read and we all start to learn more, the worst the info is the more the big dogs come out of the wood work and set us all straight

and the name calling gets creative sometimes, which i love
