Anybody recommend anything for recip -compressor monitoring?
Looking to scrap out an existing Trane system with CT's and inputs for temp/limit/OVRL protection. BAS output/compatible preferred.

That sucks, its not hard, and usually better than any canned control someone would offer. But that "P" word is very powerful, I know what you mean.

I viewed a kiltech chiller control panel the other day, designed for turbocor compressors but I was told could be fitted on almost anything, seemed to do alot(could be over kill)

Dont know if this is overkill for what you want but M&M Refrigeration makes a monitoring panel they designed to take the place of the Sabroe Unisabs. The Sabroe units have inputs for sution, discharge and oil pressure and temperature, drive motor amperage and brine or product temperature. It displays all superheats, controls staging, oil cooling etc and has all the safety setpoints intergrated. (highlow pressure oil pressure etc) I was told by M&M that their unit did everything that the Unisabs did with a few more options.

Do you have a need to monitor compressor stall?
