Hello all,
I need/want to get a combustion analyzer. Don't have a clue what to get. Don't want to get too expensive for the 1st one. Is this particular one any count? Is there much upkeep or parts that have to be replaced on a regular basis? Thanks for the help.

We have this analyzer and have been very happy with it. It's supposed to be one of the fastest out there at noting changes in CO.

I have a TSI. If you stay with TSI or the Fyrite you wont go wrong. I would suggest getting training on using it also if you haven't used one before. Bacharach and National Comfort Institute can provide training.

Thanks all,
I'll need the training for sure. Generally what's the charge for calabration on the fyrite pro and how often should it be done?

Calibration of a Fyrite Pro is around $85 plus shipping and should be done at least once a year.
I do training for Bacharach but am pretty swamped in the midwest and northeast, probably won't be getting to your neck of the woods soon. No sweat though, there is alot of info at the www.bacharach-training.com website .
My contact info is on the website, give me a call (my cell phone is best) when you get the instrument we can run through the basics. You can feel free to call anytime and the next time Jim Davis (NCI) is in your area, attend his seminar and he will get you up to speed on all the issues.
If you have any questions, I'll just be looking at the inside of a windshield most of the day tomorrow, feel free to give me a call
