He knows how important the immimgrants are to the American economy. Without these workers, the agriculture, construction, hospitality, yard maintenance and other industries suffer and prices go up. a guest worker program seems to be the best compromise on this issue.

The industries that need these workers will have an adequate supply, taxes will be paid on their income, retail servicing the workers needs will have a larger market and the incentive to migrate illegally will be lessened. It is a win for everybody.

Now let's try to explain this to your unionized and fried brain. You don't have to be a American citizen to serve in the US Military and you have a social security deduct there also and that because of the terms that to take it, itmust be paid back.

And we don't have domestic construction, hospitality,landscapers because of another socialist system you are proud of, Welfare. Cut free services to people that can work and you will find plenty of landscapers.
