Hi
I'm 21 living in Maine and have been tagging along with my dad and brother (both masters) since I was 6. I have been away from it for a few years now since my dad retired about 6 years ago and my brother is on the other side of the state but I am looking for a career and since I'm familiar with working on furnaces I'd like to get a job in this area. I was looking for any suggestions as to the best way to go about it. Would a company be unlikely to hire me to train? What would be the best time of year to apply for a job? I won't be free to apply until June. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Start buying tools now
try new construction (rough in) work.
I would apply in late march early april
there will be a ton of ads when the season is warming up
