I have just graduated from Coyne American Institute, In chicago and need a job. Is any one hiring for an entry position in the chicago area. I have some hand tools, and I am willing to learn I just need a chance to show what I have learned at school. I am EPA Universal certified and I also have the Rheem 90+ certification.

Open up the phone book and start calling companies to see if they are looking for entry level help. You should also drop off resumes and be persistent. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I have called some places and was told that they are not hiring, felt like I had failed, but I will keep on insisting and hope to find a job soon. Thank you again.

Set up a profile with hvacagent.com and look for entry level jobs that way. Worked for me.

Like fastghost mentioned, posting your resume online is also a good way to get your credentials out there for companies to see.
