A fluke question

I got a little fluke #322 clamp meter. The problem is, the thing will not work unless I warm the batteries up. Is this normal??

I would try a different set of batteries if it is still giving problems give fluke a call might need to send it in. Ive had no problems using mine in 25f on roof tops but last time i used it was about a year ago I'm using UEI now.:eek:
