I am going to be moving to Toronto, Canada in March. I have 2 1/2 years of experience in high rises, and residential install. I am trying to find out how much to expect to get paid when I get there. I have talked with a guy that told me that residential installers made about half as high rise guys, but he was a plumber, and I am not sure if that is true of HVAC guys. Basically, any information that I can get for working up there would be great. And, if anyone knows of a job opening let me know. :) Thanks!

We are a English speaking country. Or we use to be. You know how it goes all political correct and all the bullsh** that goes along with it. If you can't read or write English how can you fill out the paper work. Or better yet read the directions or specifications of all the great equipment that your great country sends up our way. Learn or burn

Cracker. You're telling us you haven't learned Espanol yet, or Cuban culture?

Hey Canada techs----Gotta thinks your taxes/deductions must be pretty high. You guys don't have painful healthcare deductions like we do. Or am I wrong. I'm curious what you think. New York is the "choking tax" state. Can't complain though, its home.

From what I have heard and read we are the highest tax country in the world.
Then the Government brags about all the surplus money they have and vote them selves a hefty raise.

Toronto is not in Quebec

People from certain parts of Ontario think they are special and want to be treated like Quebcers. They should twin them Provinces together and then
they support the rest of Canada like Alberta Does.

This guy is 1 confused dude and I don't blame you for being pissed. He is not from Alberta he is from Ontario and they have a different way of dealing with people. We are pretty easy going people in Canada and are no different than you americans. Don't let 1 guy decide how all Canadians deserve to be treated.

PS: I LOVE THE MUT COMMENT.
