No Mail Service Until Wednesday
(WCCO) Minneapolis If you put off writing out checks on a few monthly to catch up on your holiday spending, you're not going to like the news that the U.S. Postal Service will be closed for three consecutive days.
President George W. Bush ordered all federal agencies closed Tuesday, Jan. 2 out of respect for the memory of former President Gerald Ford.
Post offices will also be closed for the New Year's Day holiday on Monday.
Mail service will re-open on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

If he really respected Ford, he and 500 members of Congress would have cut short their vacations to be in DC this weekend. Better not get me started, this isn't ARP :o

A cedar is a tree. if you're too dumb to know that, you shouldn't speculate what it is.

He will be at the Capital today. Sometimes it's best not to go with someone unless ya know where they are going. Don't no where the other 500 of congress will be but the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is touring ruins in Peru.

Agree on being present to show respect for the past president.
I liked Ford, he was a tax and federal program cutter. I think we need a bunch of that now. :D
