Hello, I have several Vision Pro Stats (single stage heat/cool). I wanted to circulate a bit more air thru the hose for more even temp. Just wanted to confirm that the "circ" mode will operate the fan about 35% ABOVE and BEYOND when the furnace calls for heat. The way their instructions sound it seems like it is 35% and does not turn fan on during normal calls for heat. Sounds crazy but that is what is sounds like. Thanks

Circ mode doesn't affect the normal operation. This mode simply activates the fan between call for heat and cool for circulation.

Your furnace will operate normally (with fan running) with the circ feature on. I have vision pro in my house and love the feature of circulation. It will present no problems. All the best.

Circ mode won't adjust the fan speed. It will run at what ever it is set for on the furnace for full time fan. Mine runs at 55% of heating speed only because that is what the setting is on my variable speed unit. If it is a multispeed blower I would think it would just run at the heating speed or cooling speed unless you installed a relay or two to change the speed.

Circ mode is designed to be used with fresh air ventilation systems. If you don't have one then ignore circ mode.

Wrong.
This can be used to turn your fan on and off at random times if the home owner don't want thier fan running all times.

/agree ....
I understand the CIRC mode to run like AUTO mode during calls for heat & cool. It will also turn the fan on but not continuously to circulate air. It states 35% of the time, so somehow it must track/log the run times.
I have mine programmed to ON during Wake/Return/Sleep and CIRC during Leave. Unfortunately I am at work so have been able to observe this operaton.

And what purpose would this serve?

And what purpose would this serve?
For people who don't like the fan 24/7, but yet just want the to come on every now and then to just move air around, or who don't have variable speed blower who don't like to listen to the loud blower, or draft feeling.

When I see a reply like this it makes me wonder what kind of wackjob is behind it.....
mayguy.....just couldnt add his two cents worth...he had to put that wrong in big bold letters....like a jackass...lol
I would have answered....
"I believe circulation mode is used to prevent air stagnation....."
but then I am a civlized human being and not some chest beating cretin like mayguy....
Of course mayguy didnt know that...he just offered up the explanation that it was for homeowners who "didnt want their fan running all the time".....I mean jesus...... how completely ignorant can answer be ???
Is that on the box mayguy ???
Did honeywell list as one of its features...
" Circulation mode for homeowners who dont want their fan running all the time."
I bet when may guy reads this he will be hopping up and down like some neanderthal....probably slap the fire out of his monitor a couple of times....maybe go take it out on his dog....lol

the "circ" feature on the Visionpro is for "circulation", so that the fan runs at different times during the "off" cycle to provide circulation through the house. It doesn't matter if you have a fresh air system or not. "Circ" is the middle setpoint between fan "on" 24/7 and fan "auto",only when unit's running.
Corny, you're one to talk. ;)

Seriously...why not respond like a civil human being....add your two cents...your reasoning and be done....no use in having to go with a big bold wrong......lol
anywho........

humm heres the way i explain it that every home owner understands . it will bring the fan on radomily for random lenths of time just to circulate the air in the home and if you have a good media filter it will help clean your air a bit. agree or dont up to you but every customer understands that because it is its simplest most uncomplacated terms
