We would all like to think it won't happen to us, but you never know.

It would be OK if it happened at my shop............ But 'cmon, I want a new house. Thats what insurance is for.

Yeah that's what insurance is for. They lost everything....payables, receivables, inventory, customer history, you name it. Insurance is great to put up another brick and mortar but they lost alot of stuff that insurance can't replace.

I give em credit though - by noon of that same day, they had a remote location set up and temporary phones going. From all outward appearances, they didn't skip a beat.

This is where remote server backup is essential for any biz. If you automaticly back up you data then you should be able to get back in biz very quickly - with minimum disruption.
